Safe to deduce neither does he. Worst part is he is guaranteed tests
because he's perceived as the best of the Australian refs. I suppose
we should all be grateful Ayoub and Goddard are gone!

I just provided the stats and pointed out that we don't play Dickinson
well.
I never even commented on his reffing ability.

Thanks Dave. Do other teams have refs they hate playing under? I seem
to recall England don't fare well with one ref, but can't recall who
it is.

Perhaps a large proportion of those 7 losses were against either the
All Blacks and Lions? Could the quality of opposition be skewing the
figures? Just a crazy thought.
Dickinson copped plenty when he was younger, but these days he's
really not that bad. In fact, the way he handled the 3rd Lions test
was really pretty good. Don't think anyone had a complaint that day,
did they?

I wasn't really complaining.
Just saying that we don't play to Dickinson very well.
We play NZ, France and England better when we have another ref.
(admittedly a 7 game losing sample is not large)
Now that is a reflection on our own style more than it is a reflection
on Dickinson.
Every ref blows differently.
Its up to the teams to figure them out.
The players do want consistency.
