Inside Wales, old news, outside of Wales probably new news to most. The
saying used to go, yeah we all know Gareth Thomas is gay but I wouldn't say
it to his face. Over the years a couple of people have and erm, come off
somewhat the worse for wear.

Let's be brutally frank, despite all the liberal lobby's support for
increasing openness about homosexuality, and the homosexuals' strident
and brazen demands for ever more acceptance of their 'un-natural'
proclivities, same sex relationships are outside the mainstream of
what is considered 'normal' - along with many other perversions!

It is unfortunate for the individuals concerned, and they are entitled
to find happiness where they can and make the most of the hand that
life has dealt them. However, they should conduct themselves
discreetly if they wish to avoid un-necessary 'ridicule' and
opprobrium.

Attempting to portray homosexuality as simply an 'alternative
lifestyle', and introducing heavy-handed legislation to force the rest
of us to accept something many of us find repugnant, like numerous
other heavy-handed liberal diktats, will only create increasing
resentment and resistance.

Have a great weekend lads - you know I intend to!! ;o)

As Idris from Satellite City (Welsh sitcom) would say, "Gareth Thomas

Charles where did I say non Welsh people would be under the threat of
violence? In fact if as my post said, only Welsh people knew about his
sexuality how on earth was someone who didn't about it going to question him
about it. It was a couple of Taffs over the years that pulled him up on it.

My apologies; please let me rephrase that:

If it's so 'normal', socially acceptable and hardly worth a mention
(yawn), why then was the unfortunate man so distressed and borderline

suicidal, and why would Welsh people be under threat of violence

if they "said it to his face" for fear of coming off "worse for wear"?

Tiger Woods hetrosexual activities seem to be getting quite a lot of
attention.

I and many other people regard homosexuality as a normal practice,
induldged in by hundreds of thousands if not millions here in the UK.
Sure it merits a few sniggers amongst the schoolboys and I guess those
sniggers and other less pleasant reactions are whet Thomas feared.

The post office xmas party gossip this year was not about the two gay
guys who hooked up quite publicly but the married woman who hooked up
with one of the 'rising stars' of the office.
