What has the bow just hit in that photo? It looks a rather strange
splash pattern.

If it's that close, and knowing where the photographers spent their time
most of the first two days, I'd guess it's been taken right on the first
stroke, and the splash is probably the clog vanishing under the water.
I'll ask Mimo when I see him - I think it's one of his.

Sure it is, you can see it better in other pics of the sequence, thank
