Hi,

wonder if everyone can share their thoughts/experience

I'm probably going to be able to buy a new double for some juniors in
my club in the UK. Am looking at a boat for juniors who have been
sculling for several years. The boat will be used for events up to
Nat Champs levels. Boat will be about 70Kg weight

Can anyone give some thoughts on different makes and types of boats.

thanks

It rather depends on your budget.

We have mostly Janousek boats, which are good all-rounders and very
durable, plus a couple of SIms Evolutions for top crews.

Probably biased, but at my school we purchase Carl Douglas doubles as
they take all the abuse that Juniors submit boats too far better than
other makes. Also the white cdx is surprisingly very competitively
priced compared to other boats on the market [AND ITS BRITISH
MADE!!!!!!].
