Anyone know of anywhere still stocking Martin Cross's 'Olympic
Obsession'? RQ posted a note last year that the author had arranged
for a stack of copies to go to Borders in Kingston, but I've just
called them and they tell me they're out of stock. Rats.
Unfortunate that you didn't ask a couple of weeks ago. There was a copy
on the table in the Media Centre at the Worlds with a note on it about
obtaining copies. Can't remember what it said.
I have just this morning received my copy, bought on Ebay for £30.
Seller claimed would cost £100 on Amazon and is correct - £78 used
or £115 signed new. I didn't know where else it could be sourced so
didn't want to miss the chance. Looking forward to reading it.
Good luck finding a copy.
I am hoping to speak to Martin via a very useful contact (RQ) as I'd be
happy to add it to the books we take to UK events with Rock the Boat.
I sold one at the Worlds for £17 and have offered James the last copy
we have .....

James emailed your private address as registered at RSR but it
bounced... maybe call me 07970 734330 Rebecca
Depends if you want a copy to own- if not Putney Library has a copy.
(Well usually it does, it's currently in my living room.)

Seeing the range of prices quoted in previous postings, methinks Mr
Cross should get Tim Whatsishame, that economist off the telly, to help
him manage his supply and demand.
I've had my copy since Xmas 2000 and just when I thought it was
appreciating nicely its scarcity value has plummetted with this latest
glut. Rats
