The event usually attracts crews from the Netherlands, France, Germany
and Luxembourg, as well as a regular contingent from Romania. In 2010
we anticipate a sizable squad from the UK.
The Royal is anxious to give the best possible welcome to visiting
crews, so arrangements are in place for bargain-priced hotel
accommodation (or bring-a-sleeping-bag lodging at the clubhouse) and
on Saturday a guided tour of the city, an opportunity to row in the
afternoon and a complimentary dinner at the club in the evening.
It may be possible to arrange boat loan for the morning head race and
there may be spare seats available in the afternoon.
I’ll be happy to provide further information: brusse...@gmail.com
Can anyone enlighten us as to towing regulations on the Continent?
There seems to be a lot of confusing information out there on maximum
length of trailer, what lights you need to display etc.etc.
Caroline
Hello Caroline,
Towing a boottrailer there are Europian regulations.
We are a group of about 10 men, members of the Roei en Zeil
vereniging "Gouda"
see URL: http://www.roeienzeil.nl/
We have the intention to participate the veterans Head of 2010 on
March the 28th.
As perhaps you know London very well.
I should feel obliged if you would give me some ideas about lent/led
a boat (8+) for the Veterans Head in London
Looking forward to hear from you,
Jos
