My wife is looking for a training programme which encompasses time on
the water, an erg and running. The latter two as she can do them from
home and with two young children that is important, as going down to
the club takes up quite a lot of time. She is looking to undertake
around 4 sessions per week preparing for the next regatta season, with
a half marathon in late March. Anyone know where she can find a
programme? Or can we modify a Concept II one?

Having done a marathon or two I would advise she uses the Concept 10
or 5k training programme. Lots of variety in there to keep her happy
but important she does one or two 10 milers prior to the half
marathon. Late March is plenty of time to get ready and i was unlucky
to have to do a 18 mile training run in the morning prior to doing the
Kingston Head in the afternoon one year.

Time on the water is the same as time on the Concept. Dependant on
distance from your club I found the easiest way was to run to and from
the club to keep the running legs going.

Nothing especially complicated or scientific about my advice, but my
suggestion would be to use the runs for long-slow-distance work, erg
for intervals, and rowing/sculling sessions to emphasize technique.
