I'm a core member (basically, used often and featured) of a feature film starring a major motion picture actor that is going to come out --- sorry, I know you hate that term --- be released in theaters next year. I've worked with the star seven times now; eight, after this coming Wednesday. They are really nice. However, the picture is a "period piece" meaning I had to grow my hair to a 1980s appearance.

That I can not post to any social media about what I am doing (have agreed to do), under penalty of lawsuit, usually going as high as seven figures. I have worked one or two where I can not even directly mention to friends or family, although I do tell family members a little just in case it is necessary to know where I am or what is going on at the time. But nothing that would screw up an NDA. It's a common thing in entertainment these days.

There are more than 70 projects filming at one time in Georgia at the moment. Many of those in the Greater Atlanta area. I've worked several where, upon checking in with production on arrival, one of the first things that I have to do is read and then sign an NDA. I've worked a few where there WAS no NDA, but I still wouldn't disclose until airing, just out of professional courtesy and a want to keep working. The studios don't like it when you give away spoilers.
