Yes, it is true. During Bob's 78th birthday, the staff at The Price is Right celebrated with a large cake. Bob's slice had red on it, which everyone originally thought was cherry or strawberry topping. However, it was confirmed to be ketchup when Roger Dobkowitz observed Bob taking a ketchup bottle from his dressing room and applying it on his piece of cake.

Bob puts ketchup on all kinds of weird shit. Cake, cereal, soup, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches... the list goes on and on. About the only thing he *doesn't* put ketchup on is the beef hamburgers that he would never publicly admit to eating.
