Abeja/Avispa/Mosca/Hormiga vs Perro Aguayo Jr/Blue Demon Jr/Parka Jr/
Psicodelico Jr
Los Insectos take the first fall with some average brawling. Demon
nails Mosca in the face with the crown of his head with a tope suicida
through the ropes. Aguayo follows with an old man crotch dive off the
apron onto Abeja. Avispa gets Psicodelico into the Insectos sack,
giving fall two to the Juniors Atomicos. Hormiga misses an apron dive
onto Demon. Psicodelico follows with a high springboard dive onto
Hormiga. Mosca follows with a clumsy tope suicida onto the two. Parka
follows with an even clumsier tope suicida onto the three. Avispa ends
the sequence with a decent over the top somersault dive onto the four.
The Juniors get Abeja into the Insectos sack, and throw him over the
top onto the other Insectos and into the guard rail. Los Insectos
seemingly win the match by DQ advancing to the next round of the four
man tag titles tournament, pretty good action.

Psicosis II/Maniaco/Mosco II/Histeria II vs Ludxor/Discovery/Venum II/
Super Nova II
Los Vipers start the match by drop kicking the four Cadetes to the
floor, followed by four tope suicida dives through the ropes. Which is
opposite the way the Cadetes vs Vipers matches from '97 usually
started out. Psicosis II pins Ludxor after a top rope frankensteiner,
followed by Maniaco slingshot somersaulting onto Nova II for the fall.
Los Vipers continue brawling into fall two, using chairs. Psicosis II
comes off the top rope with an Arabian face buster onto Venum II.
Ludxor dives off the apron onto Psicosis II with a Rey Misterio Jr
style flying head scissors. Ludxor and Discovery do double over the top
somersault dives onto Histeria II and Psicosis II. Venum II and Nova II
do a double tope suicida through the ropes onto Mosco II and Maniaco,
with Nova II nose diving nearly head first for the second time this
year. Los Cadetes win the fall by count out. Ludxor has his mask torn
open and his forehead cut by Psicosis II. Mosco II is hip tossed off
the apron, landing totally unprotected on his back for the forth time
this year. Venum II follows with a somersault off the apron onto him.
Discovery springs off the middle rope with a huge quebrada style
moonsault dive onto Histeria II. Nova II dives high off the top turn
buckle onto Maniaco. Ludxor and Psicosis II trade a few near falls.
Ludxor nearly gets Psicosis II into a Romero special, but is kicked in
the groin from behind by Mini Cibernetico. Psicosis II pins Ludxor to
advance in the tournament. Great action packed stuff in my opinion.
It's cool seeing these two teams continue their near two year feud, by
having another fast paced dozen plus dives match.

Mini Psicosis/Mini Abismo Negro vs Mini Ludxor/Octagoncito
Mini Psicosis superplexes Mini Ludxor, followed by a top rope splash
by Mini Abismo for a near fall. Octagoncito springboards off the
middle of the top rope with a moonsault dive, getting at least twelve
feet high, killing Mini Abismo on the way down. Mini Ludxor does a
weird spinning double leg kick dive onto Mini Psicosis. Mini Abismo
fouls Octagoncito, giving the tecnicos the fall. The rudos are tossed
to the floor, followed by Mini Ludxor diving over the top rope with
a somersault onto Mini Psicosis. Just as Octagoncito dives through the
ropes with a somersault onto Mini Abismo. Octagoncito eliminates Mini
Abismo with Octagon's russian leg sweep stretch hold. Mini Psicosis
pins Octagoncito with a powerbomb. Mini Ludxor counters Mini Psicosis'
missed springboard flying head scissors into a camel clutch for the
match in straight falls. Ludxor runs in to congratulate Mini Ludxor.
Mini Psicosis challenges Mini Ludxor to a mask match. Cool stuff, with
the minis having their usual solid match with a few great dives.

Venus/Janeth/Xochitl Hamada vs Lady Ludxor/Alda & Rosy Moreno
The last lady out of the cage loses her mask or hair. After several
minutes of brawling, Alda is the first to make it out. Followed by
Janeth. Then Rosy. Then Hamada. Hamada stays on the cage and knocks
Lady Ludxor off the top back in. Tirantes holds down Lady Ludxor by her
hair from the floor. Ludxor runs in to attack Tirantes. Mini Abismo,
Mini Psicosis, and Cibernetico run in to attack Ludxor and Lady Ludxor.
Lady Ludxor is knocked off the top of the cage with a chair by
Cibernetico. Causing her to fall over ten feet back first. Venus makes
it out. Lady Ludxor is unmasked. She looks like the lady who played
Sahori in '97. Mediocre action, but good for what it was. It makes for
a better TV show when they use overlooked talent in bigger feuds. It
looks like all three Ludxor gimmicks will be unmasked by early Fall.
Which should lead to two really good matches.

Ludxor and Lady Ludxor are shown sitting in Antonio Pena's office along
with Jesus Zuniga. They talk for a few minutes, probably about Ludxor's
lack of air time and feuds over the last year or so. They probably set
up a Ludxor vs Psicosis II mask match.

Cibernetico/Kick Boxer/Shiiba/Hijo del Espectro vs Octagon/Pentagon/
Duro y Directo
The tecnicos win fall one after some decent action. Espectro Jr and
Cadaver de Ultratumba come out near the wrestler entrance. The Duros
do a double tope suicida through the ropes onto Shiiba and Boxer.
Octagon and Pentagon roll up Espectro for the match. Cibernetico brawls
with Espectro after the fall. Cadaver and the two Espectros beat down
and unmask Cibernetico. Decent action for a main event.
