The following is a recap of the CMLL TV show that aired on Channel 5 in
Mexico City on 7\5.

The show opened with a clip of a 6 man match from the Tuesday night show
from Arena Coliseo.  The point of the clip was to show the start of a
feud between Hijo de Solitario and Apolo Dantes.

The TV opener was a six man matchup between Pirata Morgan, Satanico, and
Emilio Charles Jr vs. King Haku, Atlantis and Lizmark.

It was a good effort from the regulars, but Haku was in the ring
entirely too long and can't work this style at all.  In the first fall,
Altlantis made Satanico submit while Lizmark and Haku made Morgan and
Charles submit.  The segunda went to the rudos when all three pinned
Haku and Charles pinned Lizmark while Atlantis was counted out.  The
deciding fall went tothe technicos when Atlantis made Charles submit,
Haku pinned Morgan, and Lizmark pinned Satanico.       ** 3\4

The second match was for the vacant CMLL Middleweight title, last held
by Blue Panther.  El Dandy became the new champ in a fantastic match
when took two of three falls from Negro Casas.  The first two falls
featured a lot of mat wrestling, and were very similar to Atlantis vs.
the Blue Panther from last August.  Casas took the first fall when he
made Dandy submit to a scorpion.  Dandy took the second when when he
used a stepover toe hold into a bridge.

The third fall was all action and was finally decided when Dandy hit the
el Dandina, or Dandy rollup.  After the match, Casas sportingly
presented the belt to Dandy, hardly rudolike behavior.  I heard from
Steve Sims that Casas was led to believe he would win, and now is
seriously considering a jump to Triple A.               ****

The Main Event was a hair vs hair match between El Faraon and MS1, which
basically came out of nowhere.  The first two falls were pretty good,
with each guy getting a pin and Faraon juicing.  At the beginning of the
third fall, MS1 juiced also and looked to have overdid it.  He was
really bleeding badly and it affected his workrate.  The action slowed
down considerably until finally Faraon pinned MS1 on a botched move.
                                                         ** 1\2.

All in all, a pretty good show.  Input?
