Galavision Lucha Libre TV Review #30

Guerrero de la Muerte/Rey Bucanero/Valentine Mayo vs Tony Rivera/Brazo
de Oro/Fiera
Muerte and Rivera start brawling around the ring, with Rivera getting
busted open in the first few minutes. Rudos lose primera caida by
brawling too roughly. Fiera dives onto Bucanero and Mayo but is caught.
Brazo follows with a chest first tope suicida. Rivera counters a roll
up for the match. Average efforts, but decent for what it was.

Apolo Dantes/Villanos IV,V vs Emilio Charles/Head Hunters
The rudos take fall one after suplexing a Hunter onto Charles. Dantes
takes a big feet first fall over the top rope, followed by a Charles
crotch dive off the apron. One of the Hunters gets Villano V into a
high bear hug, followed by the other Hunter driving the Villano head
first into the mat with a botched bulldog attempt for fall two. Emilio
dives through the ropes onto Villano V with a good tope suicida,
followed by a Hunter diving off the apron onto Dantes. The other Hunter
pins Villano IV with a moonsault off the top for the match. Above
average action for these guys, pretty cool stuff.

Santo/Black Warrior/Blue Panther vs Scorpio/Bestia Salvaje/Karloff
Lagarde vs Negro Casas/Felino/Atlantis
Scorpio Jr's team eliminates Negro's team first. Santo goes through the
ropes onto Negro with a tope suicida. Felino gets a near fall by power
bombing an attempted Warrior springboard flying head scissors. Warrior
counters Felino's splash mountain off the top with a frankensteiner for
a pin. Atlantis eliminates Warrior with his back breaker hold. Panther
eliminates Atlantis with Warrior's standing nudo hold. Scorpio's team
gangs up on Santo. Negro's team comes in to help, giving the match to
Scorpio's team by disqualification. Good fast action from most of them.

Momentos Estelares moves of the week. First up is Kid Guzman diving
over the top with a huge attempted tope suicida onto Rencor Latino, but
going too high and somersaulting instead. The only other good move is
Santo missing a tope suicida onto Scorpio, and landing hard on his hip.

Mascara Ano 2000 vs Brazo de Plata - hair vs hair
Porky takes the first fall with a fisherman suplex. Ano pins Porky
after a missed senton for the second fall. Universo loads Ano's arm
pad with something. Ano gives Porky a couple uppercuts then pins him
for the match. Porky gets his head shaved. They show highlights that
were seemingly cut from the match. Porky dives off the apron with a
good Garza style tornillo, then misses a vertical splash. Ano misses a
splash off the top. Average stuff for the two, but not very good in
comparison to the average efforts from most others. The tornillo dive
was cool though.
