The two brawl around to start. Rivera gets busted open huge in the

More brawling around to start the second fall, with Rivera pinning

trade a few near falls. Muerte gets Rivera in the same back breaker
hold, but Rivera rolls forward off Muerte's shoulders pinning him for
the match. Muerte gets his head shaved. Decent action.

second fall with a Northern Lights suplex and a vertical suplex. Janeth

- Campeon Nacional Atomicos - (4 man tag titles tournament)
Charly Manson/Nygma/Flowers/Picudo vs Kung Fu Jr/Kato Kung Lee Jr/Hong
Kong Lee/?
Los Vatos Locos take the first fall. Los Marvellous Orientales take
fall two by count out after quadruple tope suicida dives. Nygma starts
a dive sequence with a good tope suicida onto Hong Kong. Followed by
Kung Fu diving over the top with a somersault onto the two. Followed
by Charly Manson, diving over the far gaurd rail into the second row
with a killer quebrada style Asai moonsault, nearly onto a fan. The
forth Orientale follows with a mediocre tope suicida. My Flowers dives
off the top with a decent plancha onto everyone to end it. Picudo pins
Kato with a knee landing splash mountain for the match, to advance los
Vatos in the four man tag tourney. Great dives, good overall.

Los Payasos vs Octagon/Pentagon/Duro y Directo
Payasos take the primera caida. Tecnicos take fall two with a Pentagon
moonsault onto a standing Coco Negro, an Octagon cradle, and two Duro
holds. The Duros do a double tope suicida onto Rojo and Amarillo. Los
Payasos take the match and advance by putting on Coco Azul masks.
Mediocre action.

Blue Demon and Blue Demon Jr present a boy with a Blue Demon mask.
Abismo Negro runs in and attacks Blue Demon Jr, then tries to piledrive
Blue Demon Sr. Hijo del Blue Demon Jr kicks Abismo out of the
piledriver. Pretty much the same angle CMLL ran with Rayo Sr and Steel
earlier this year.

Cibernetico/Abismo Negro/Maniaco/Psicosis II vs Perro Aguayo/Heavy
Metal/Latin Lover/Dos Caras
The tecnicos win fall one by DQ after a bunch of brawling. They start
fall two with more brawling. Maniaco starts a dive sequence with a
tope suicida onto Perro. Heavy follows with a huge hands free over the
top rope somersault onto Maniaco, which is his first above average dive
on TV in well over a year. Abismo follows with a somersault through the
ropes onto Metal. Caras follows with a good tope suicida onto Abismo.
Psicosis II follows with a good tope suicida over the top onto all of
the guys. Lover ends it with a simple dive off the top. Cibernetico
fakes a dive and exits the opposite side of the ring. Various tecnicos
and rudos run in and brawl around ringside. The tecnicos win the match.
Rare, really good dive sequence for a AAA main event, good overall.

CMLL TV 8/29/98
Rencor Latino vs Apolo Chino - mask vs Mask
After skipping this several weeks old episode, Galavision decides to
air it. They start out with some basic stuff. Chino dives through the
ropes with a huge somersault onto Rencor, and wins the primera caida
with a huracanrana. Rencor takes the segunda caida with an uranage
throw and a Delfin clutch type hold. They trade off some good stuff to
start the third fall. Chino dives off the top with a killer moonsault
twisted into a somersault onto Rencor and the hard wood floor. Rencor
dives off the top with a simple plancha. Rencor takes the match and
Chino's mask with a slick three part move. He gets Chino into a

the top, but the rudos are disqualified for brawling too roughly.
Mediocre action.

Moreno dives through the ropes with a somersault onto Venus. The rudas
take fall one with a double powerbomb. Sugeith dives off the top onto
Janeth, while Star dives off the opposite turnbuckle onto Practicante.
Moreno gets Venus into an Octagon style hold for the fall. Star is
assisted over the top with a dive onto Janeth. Followed by Practicante
going through the ropes onto the two with a clumsy tope suicida.

and good overall action.

- Campeon Nacional Atomicos - (4 man tag titles tournament)
Maniaco/Mosco/Histeria/Psicosis vs Abeja/Avispa/Hormiga/Mosca
Los Vipers take the first fall with some mediocre brawling. Sangre
Chicana, Espectro Jr, Cadaver, and Hijo del Espectro stand near the
entrance just as Mosco starts a dive sequence onto Mosca. The camera
misses the first dive, but catches Hormiga doing a crappy apron dive
onto Mosco. Histeria follows with a good tope suicida. Avispa follows
with what was probably a somersault over the top. Maniaco goes through
the ropes with a tope suicida. Abeja follows with a good somersault
over the top onto all of them. Psicosis ends the sequence with a tope
suicida through the ropes. Los Espectros and Cadaver run in, los Vipers
seemingly advance by DQ. Average overall action with a few cool dives.

Fuerza Guerrera/Abismo Negro vs Octagon/Pentagon
The tecnicos take the fall with a pentagon Asai moonsault onto Fuerza.
Octagon dives through the ropes with a tope suicida onto Abismo. Fuerza
is caught groin fouling Pentagon, so the match goes to the tecnicos in
consecutive falls. Average action.

Sangre Chicana/Killer/Fueher vs Perro Aguayo Sr & Jr/Octagon
Janeth hits Octagon in the head with her shoe, followed by Killer
pinning him for the fall. The tecnicos take the second fall after
Octagon comes off the top with a cross body onto Janeth. Fuerer tries
to throw nazi powder into Perro's eyes again, but he ducks and Janeth
ends up getting it. Perro Jr misses a crotch dive off the apron,
followed by Perro Sr poorly connecting with one on Killer. Octagon
does a good tope suicida onto Fueher. Perro Jr foot stomps Sangre for
the match. Average overall action.
