IAWTP. The awesomeness of Kirk just cannot overcome the Force Choke
and...well, the Force in general. If Kirk tried to shoot Vader with
his phaser, Vader would use the Force to make Kirk shoot Spock, and
then the Force Choke would kill Kirk.
