Chris Cornell confirms Soundgarden reunion

Singer Chris Cornell, former frontman of the ’90s Seattle grunge band
Soundgarden, confirmed via Twitter that the band is getting back
together. “The 12 year break is over & school is back in session,”
Cornell tweeted. “Sign up now. Knights of the Soundtable ride again!”
Cornell provided a link to a new web site, Soundgarden World, which
enables fans to sign up for further updates on the band’s reunion.
Soundgarden split up in 1997 and Cornell went on to release three solo
albums, but in recent years he and other former band mates had hinted
at the possibility of an eventual reunion.

I'm gonna go with NAY.

Smells Like 90s Nostalgia.

Yea. Music started going to shit about the same time Soundgarden broke up.
A reunited Soundgarden becomes one of the best bands in the world instantly.

Until they release an album, anyway. Reunited bands rarely, if ever,
perform at the same height that they once did. If they weren't able to make
anything worth listening to apart, its doubtful they will be able to put
out anything worthwhile together, either. Just ask Smashing Pumpkins, Stone
Temple Pilots, or any of the hundreds of other bands that have recently got
back together.
