Libre - November 30
Fresh footage this time, highlighted by the final rounds of the tournament
to determine the new CMLL ladies championship. Fortunately, Martha
Villalobos was nowhere to be seen. This tourney action is sandwiched between
AAA action.

MATCH 1: PERRO AGUAYO JR. & PERRO AGUAYO SR. vs. MOSCO DE LA MERCED & FUERZA
GUERRERA (AAA)

Mosco and Perro Jr. open up this fall with back and forth matwork. Quickly,
all four men are in the ring brawling. Sanity is restored and Perro Sr and
Fuerza are left in the ring. Fuerza takes control with slaps and a flying
elbow. Fuerza misses a clothesline, and Perro Sr takes him down with an
armdrag. Fuerza misses a drop kick to the outside. Perro Jr and Mosco
come in, and Perro Jr gets a two-count after a powerslam. Perro then sends
Mosco outside after a head scissors and a drop kick. The rudos charge and
get a two on one advantage. A top-rope FrankenMosco nets a two-count. Team
Aguayo charges the ring, and sends the rudos outside after a double drop
kick. Perro Sr jumps on to Mosco with a Rougeau bomb. Perro Sr holds
Fuerza so Jr can dropkick him, but Fuerza moves and Perro Jr dropkick Sr.
The rudos double team Perro. Fuerza hits his with a low blow. Tirantes DQ's
the rudos. Rudos control as this fall opens, with two on one beatings on
Sr. Every time Jr. tries to enter, Tirantes throws him out by the hair.
Perro Jr eventually charges, and gain control. They backdrop Mosco and then
hit him with a double elbow. They make him submit to an undescribable
submission move. They lock the same move in on Fuerza, but Mosco runs in
with what appears to bea bottle of beer, and nails Perro Sr. Straight
falls DQ win. Perro juices. The rudos team up to destroy Team Aguayo.
Post-match, janitors come in ring to clean up the beer.

MATCH 2: LADY APACHE vs. XOCHITL HAMADA (highlights) (EMLL)

This match concludes with Hamada trying a run to the turnbuckles, but that
attack was blocked by Apache. Lady Apache then rolls her up with a sunset
flip to advance to the finals.

MATCH 3: DIABOLICA vs. (CHAPPARITA(sp?)) ASARI (highlights) (EMLL)

Asari was part of Alundra Blayze's team at last year's Survivor Series. She
wraps up this match with a FrankenAsari off of the top rope after Diabolica
missed a somersault off the top.

MATCH 4: (Finals) (CHAPPARITA(sp?)) ASARI vs. LADY APACHE (EMLL)

This is only set for one fall. They open with matwork. Apache blocks a
backslide into a Gorry Special (as the announcers called it). Asari escapes
this with a victory roll for a two count. Apache tries it again, and she
gets a series of two counts out of this. Asari escapes into a sunset flip
for a 1 count. Apache gets a perfect-plex and a senton, both for two
counts. Asari comes back with dropkicks, and hits a Northern Lights Suplex
for a two. She then slams Apache and hits the Skytwister Press (twisting
top-rope splash that looks insane) for only a two count. Asari tries again,
but Apache charges up the ropes, and meets her with a top-rope armdrag.
Apache then hits a pair of top rope drop kicks and finishes off Asari with a
sit-down powerbomb. Apache is the new CMLL ladies champion. This match was
only 5 minutes long, but that was the only drawback.

Post match comments from Apache.

MATCH 5: EL CANEK, CYBERNETICO & FUERZA GUERRERA vs. OCTAGON, LA PARKA &
TINIEBLAS JR. (AAA)

El Canek wears a red tights/mask combo. Cybernetico wears black trunks and
a mask, the mask features electronic images. He will compete in the 1997
Royal Rumble. Tinieblas wears a black and gold mask/tight, with golden eyes
on the chest.

Either the second or first fall was cut from this match. It was also joined
in progress, as Cybernetico beats on Tinieblas. Tinieblas fights back with
drop kicks, and tags in La Parka. Parka does the Hogan-esque hand to the
ear thing. Funny stuff. Canek and Parka work some matwork, as do Octagon
and Fuerza. We get a brief brawl involving all six men, with the rudos
eventually taking control, with Fuerza making Octagon submit to the scorpion
deathlock. An elbowdrop from Canek does in Tinieblas. Cybernetico misses
a top rope elbow drop on Tinieblas to open the next fall. Parka comes in,
and he does his dancing bit, backing Fuerza into a corner, frustrated on
two separate occasions. Fuerza has had enough, and clotheslines Parka.
Parka fights back with a spinning backbreaker. Eventually, everybody but
Cybernetico and Tinieblas are on the outside fighting. In the ring, Cyber
tears off Tinieblas' mask, ending this match in favour of the tecnicos. Lame
ending, as you could see the mask was already loose, so you just knew that
the end would come when the mask came off.

Only one original match in its entirity here, but plenty of highlights.
Everything on this broadcast was from EMLL. The highlight here was the
return to action of Hector Garza.

We open with another update in the GRAN ALTERNATIVA tournament. 3 point for

Rebroadcast of the Asari/Apache match.

MATCH 1: HECTOR GARZA, DOS CARAS (capt) & LIZMARK vs. EMILIO CHARLES JR.,
APOLO DANTES & DR. WAGNER JR. (capt)

First look at Garza. He is an amazing flyer, that deserves a chance in one
of the big two. He has the "pretty boy" look, which may be his only
drawback. Caras wears a green and red mask/tights combo. Charles wears
black trunks, and has long brown hair, and is also a good worker. Wagner is
also very good. He wears white trunks, and a white mask. There is a bit of
a past between Garza and Charles, and Charles injured Garza in early August
after hitting Hector with a _very_ stiff splash off of the top rope. This
is my first time seeing Garza in the ring since that incident.

The rudos attack as soon as the tecnicos enter the ring. Garza and Charles
fight to the outside, and Charles throws Hector into the steel post. In the
ring, the rudos commence a 3 on 1 attack on the tecnicos. Hector is tossed
around by the hair during his stint in the ring. Dantes tied up Lizmark in
the corner, and unloads with kneelifts. Caras comes in and Dantes throws
him into Lizmark. Charles hits a senton on Garza, and he on Dantes pile on
top of Hector to eliminate Garza. Shortly afterwards, Lizmark is pinned
when Apolo nails a splash off the top rope. The tecnicos charge the ring to
open the second fall. Garza and Charles go one and one for a bit. Garza
climbs to the top, and jumps off, and then armdrags Emilio to the outside.
Garza goes outside and posts Emilio. Dantes and Lizmark go back and forth
with matwork. Caras pins Wagner after a surfboard-style pinning
combination. Lizmark also had Charles down after a dropkick off the second
turnbuckle. The rudos start strong, backing Garza into their corner.
Hector turns it around, when Dantes and Wagner start missing moves and hit
nothing but each other with slaps and sentons. Lizmark comes in with
Dantes, and Liz dominates with dropkicks. He attempts a FrankenLiz, but
Dantes blockes it with a powerbomb for a two count. Danted tries a second
powerbomb, but this time, the FrankenLiz is successful, on Dantes is pinned.
Emilio charges the ring, and he gets hit quickly with a pair of spinning
backbreakers, but comes back to pin Lizmark with a powerbomb. Garza runs
in, and he knocks Charles to the outside. Garza then climbs the ropes, and
dives onto Charles and Dantes with his profanity inducing corkscrew plancha.
In the ring, Caras and Wagner go back and forth with two counts, and Wagner
eventually comes out on top after rolling with a sunset flip, and earning a
three count. Rudos win, 2-1.
