TOWNSAND..."Baldwin, these matches are probably the
hardest to pick, but then again, I did pick Gigantor
over the Rainbow Warrior, now didn't I?"
BALDWIN..."Yes you did."
TOWNSAND..."Thank you. I wanted to hear you admit
to it. Agenar's got him!"
TOWNSAND..."Well, there's the prediction. Let's get
down to the ring!"
Crumb climbs into the ring.
CRUMB..."Ladies and gentlemen...before we get on with our
next match, I would like to draw your attention to the
Night of the Hunted banner that hangs just below the
second deck. Would you at this time, give a warm
Toronto welcome,...to the one...the only..."Big J"
JOHNNY TOWNSAND!!"
BALDWIN..."What the hell?!"
TOWNSAND..."Ha ha! I knew you'd be jealous, Baldwin!"
Townsand drops his headset and stands up on the desk. The announcers
booth is open, and sits on the far right side of the Dome. Townsand stands
up and flexs. There are mostly boos, but a few cheers can be heard.
Townsand sits back down.
TOWNSAND..."Did you hear that, Baldwin? They love me
here! I saw a sign that said "Johnny for Prime Minister!"
BALDWIN..."Isn't that the one you made yourself?"
TOWNSAND..."Your so jealous Baldwin! Here's 2 bucks. go
get yourself another hot dog! Ha ha!"
CRUMB..."Thank you, Johnny. Alright, this next contest is
a 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS MATCH! Introducing first, from Myst...
weighing 315 lbs...here is AGENARRRR!!!"
Boos echoe throughout the Dome as Agenar rides down the runway. He
mouths off at the fans, then climbs into the ring.
CRUMB..."And his opponent...making his way to the ring,
along with his manager, Krissy Banger...from New York...
weighing 302 lbs...here is SHOCKWAAVEEE!!!"
Shockwave and Krissy receive a tremendous ovation as they enter the Dome.
BALDWIN..."See, now that's the sound they make when
' they love someone!"
TOWNSAND..."What are you talking about? They love me so
much here, I might have to move!"
BALDWIN..."Shockwave looks ready for this."
TOWNSAND..."Yeah he does, but..."
BALDWIN..."Hey, why is the cart stopping?"
The ring cart stops half down the aisle. Shockwave and Krissy say
something to the driver.
BALDWIN..."What's going on?"
TOWNSAND..."I don't know. Hey..wait a minute!"
Shockwave's music stops and the crowd stands watching. Agenar stands on
the ropes yelling at Shockwave.
Shockwave yells at the driver to move the cart. He turns and says
something to Krissy, and as he turns, the driver stands and belts him in the
face! Shockwave loses his balance and falls out of the cart. Krissy screams.
BALDWIN..."What the hell is he doing?"
TOWNSAND..."Look at him, Baldwin! I know him from
somewhere!"
The driver climbs off the cart, grabs Shockwave and rams his head into
the side of it! Shockwave falls to the floor, bleeding from the top of his
head. The fans boo and throw things and the driver picks up Shockwave and
holds him, then slams his head into the concrete with a tombstone pildriver!
Shockwave lies on the floor. He doesn't move.
BALDWIN..."Oh my god! What the hell?!"
TOWNSAND..."That's the Grave Digga, Baldwin! I knew
I recognized him!"
BALDWIN..."He's not scheduled to be here! What's he
doing?!"
Digga picks up Shockwave and hits him with another "burial"! Secruity
rushes down the aisle, followed by the Masters of Motion. The fans cheer
when they see the youngsters. They all swarm around Digga. He pushes some
of them off, but gives in and heads to the back. The fans boo and scream at
him as he leaves.
A stretcher is brought down for Shockwave. Krissy stands in tears as
they load her man and roll him out of the SkyDome. Tasker and Sanders lead
Krissy out of the Dome.
TOWNSAND..."Ha ha! Thanks for stoppin' by, Shockwave!"
BALDWIN..."Your disgusting! That man had no business
being here!"
TOWNSAND..."Well, he made some business of his own!"
BALDWIN..."Tom, are you there?"
The scene switches to the back, where Tom is in the middle of a crowd of
people. Shockwave is being loaded into an ambulance.
RUSSEL..."Guys, they're not telling me anything, except
that Shockwave is hurt bad. They are rushing him to
a near by hospital. That's all I know. Back to you!"
The crowd stands shocked and silent.
BALDWIN..."I can't believe what we've just witnessed.
What was Grave Digga trying to prove?!"
TOWNSAND..."He's making a statement, Baldwin! And I
think he made it perfectly!"
BALDWIN..."And what statement is that?"
TOWNSAND..."It was a message to everyone! Grave Digga
is in the WLW! And the message just rang loud and
clear! Right Shockwave?! Ha ha ha!"
BALDWIN..."Alright, Johnny! As every match goes by, we
draw closer to the big one!"
TOWNSAND..."That's right! My palms are sweatin' just
thinkin' about it!"
BALDWIN..."We're gonna take you now to some pre-recorded
comments from the WLW Champion, Gigantor!"
Mark R. Rose stands infront of the cage that contains the Champion.
ROSE..."Samhain, tonite you go up against YOUR biggest
nightmare. You meet a man who is bigger than you,
stronger than you and, who is not afraid of you."
GIGANTOR..."AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"
ROSE..."You pulled your ace card out of the deck and
used it already, Samhain. You played your biggest
hand and it backfired. All you managed to do was
prove that Gigantor is not intimidated by your tricks.
Later tonite, I'm going to let Gigantor out of this
cage and all of his rage will be focused on you. So,
Samhain, bring your fire, bring your smoke, bring your
mystic pumpkin, bring it all. Gigantor will walk
through it all and hold onto the WLW championship.
Mark my words!!"
GIGANTOR..."RRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRR!!"
Gigantor begins to shake the cage. Rose laughs as the camera fades.
BALDWIN..."I wish someone would lock that guy in a cage!"
TOWNSAND..."Shut up, Baldwin! That man manages two champions,
and he deserves respect! As for the comments, I don't
know what to say! You never know what Gigantor is going
to do, and when it comes to Samhain, well, he's even
harder to figure out!"
BALDWIN..."It's all coming up in a little while!"
