Several of the Chinese girls look well under the required age limit.
They look about 12 years old. The only proof of their age is a Chinese
passport which any moron can make at a Kinkos..

If the Chinese are willing to fake the girl singing the national anthem,
then they are willing to fake the ages of participants.

The chinese team should be disqualified for using ineligible girls.

There's no way the IOC is going to risk offending their very powerful
Chinese hosts by calling shenanigans over this. Those girls have
competed internationally before with nary a peep, so now is not the
time to challenge their age.

And to what end? So the Americans can get the gold medal by default?
If the U.S. had performed flawlessly and still got silver I could see
the point, but this isn't about some of the Chinese girls being tiny;
it's about who were the better gymnasts, and the U.S. faltered. There
were falls and mistakes, bigger ones than the Chinese made.

The U.S. was not robbed in this case. I believe they received an
award commiserate with their performance.
