This year the German championships were for the first time played as
a superleague (Bundesliga) with a triple round robin on three weekends.
The competion was close and the final decision was made both at the men's
and the women's championship in the final round, but at the end both
teams who participated at the European championships in Sundsvall
qualified also for the World's in Brandon.
This means that Germany will be represented there with two very experienced
teams which were quite succesful internationally before.
