Dealers make mistakes, it happens. It is the owners responsibility to make
sure what he gets is correct for his ski.
I once poured a concrete deck around a swimming pool, a very big deck. It
was 105 degrees that day. I hopped into my truck and went to the concrete
supplier and bought 5 gals of "retarder" to slow the setup time. I sprayed
it on the slab, then finished the cement. It came out beautiful. The owner
of the home called me first thing in the morning to tell me that the whole
top coating was "lifting off " . I raced over there to see it for myself.
Yep, it was lifting off alright !
I went home and read the label on the 5 gal can. It was a product for
exposed aggerate applications, not a retardant. It cost me 5 grand to redo
the slab. The clerk at the concrete supply house had given me the wrong
product. But I was responsible for using it.
Some days it don't pay to get out of bed.

I *Used* to be a mud man ! 20 years was enough of that !
If I were her husband, she would have been buried under it ! At least it was
only 9 yds. Not more than a week of breaking and hauling :) I wonder how
long it took to teach her how to run a 90lb hammer ?
I knew a crew who put in all the foundations and slabs for a 3 bdrm house.
It came out real nice. Problems arose when they found out it was on the
wrong lot.
In 1971, I built a Mark C. Bloome tire store. Followed the plans to a
"tee". After the building was erected, Mr. Bloome paid the next door
neighbor $30 grand for the one foot of property of his that we built the
south wall on :) The whole lot (that Bloome bought) cost about $40 grand, at
the time. Bloome's in-house engineers blew that one !
