I don't think juniors in any field of life look "shockingly" strong.
Canadians - regardless of their age - never do so. You wake up every time
there is a minor tournament going on somewhere. Funny.

Same usual 4 countries will be roughly equal : Canada, Russia, Sweden,
and USA. Finland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia will be a bit behind
the curve, and Germany, Latvia and Kazakhstan won't belong there at
all. All will depend whether the home crowd works in Canada's favor or
is too much pressure.

Although, the Germans do have a way of upsetting and overperforming at
times with great team defense. Ya never know.

Canada's John Tavares vs Sweden's Victor Hedman vs American Jordan
Schroeder. Good matchups.

The IIHF should cut the number of teams down from 10 to 8 or 6.
Kazhakstan, Latvia and Germany don't really belong here. Just
embarrassing and painful for the Kazakh players to lose 15-0 to
Canada.
