You know what, Bert?

I share the idea that being able to have the tools to defend oneself is
an expression of our fundamental rights to life and liberty, and I am
completely aware that the courts have ruled that the police have no duty
to protect anyone.

But going from there to "machine guns SHOULD be in every home" just
shows you to be an idiot extremist.
