Shoot me a email on where to send the Pro-Vs. Remove the extra ik in my

There is no reason for any to gloat over the results of this election,
unless some things in Congress change. Until/unless we get more
willingness to reach across the aisle and try to find some common
ground, things won't change much.

The rabid partisanship has run its course imo. It didn't get anything
done and won't in the future. We as voters and citizens need to watch
the Congress closely and call them to task when they refuse to do the
job we sent them there for.

I already have drafts of my positions and expectations from these
Congress critters that I will refine and send to them on a regular basis
until they get their shit together.

The Republican chance for taking the Presidency was dramatically reduced
when they selected a RINO that tried to appear to be a conservative. I
think that was the real reason he lost. People just didn't know what he
stood for. And in an extremely divided country, that was not good for
him or the Republicans.

Now we need to think about the mid-terms and how to get more of the
ultra-right/left bunch out of there. They are a huge problem.

If they are obstructionist as you wish for, then a couple things will
happen.

1. The fiscal cliff will be fallen over.

2. In 2 years the Republicans will be out of Congress, or at least out
of the majority.

There was a mandate yesterday. And that mandate was to both parties,
and it was 'get your shit together and start running this country'!
Everyone, including the corporates, are very tired of the gridlock.

You must have missed the $6 trillion in debt he heaped on the children
and grandchildren of those in the USA.

He had to sign the bill in order to be able to spend the cash.

The GOP got their asses handed to them and will probably lose control of
the house in the midterm elections. Voters are sick to death of gridlock
in Washington.

A "multi-trillion" dollar "spree" implies spending that was

Fact: the US was already running deficits of nearly a trillion before

Polls show most people support the raising of taxes on those making over

I actually have some hope. Clinton and Newt accomplished much in his

accomplished.

I don't hate democracy. I do understand it largest flaw.

?A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only
exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse
from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes
for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury
with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal
policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the
world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.?
