of holes. About the last part I saw was Christie Kerr skulling a chip
across the green--to be honest I was expecting something like that from
Wie. I'm glad she won and got the monkey off her back. She truly does
have a great swing.
* was excellent. For lean cuts like pork loin brining is key, as is not
overcooking.

When she missed a couple of birdie putts that could have given her a
cushion, I feared she would find a way to pull defeat out of the fire yet
again. But her bunker shot on 18 really was a marvelous shot.
Critics will, of course, say that it was a very limited field. But it
included all the top players, and she played very well indeed, apart from
letting a few makeable putts get away. When she hit a marvelous recovery
shot after smacking the ball off the tree, and almost made a magical par
save, I thought that might have been a genuine turning point - not just for
the tournament, but for her career.
It will be interesting to see if now she can start to live up to her
potential and become one of the tour's major forces at a time when they
really need her, or if she, like Natalie, struggles to find a second win.

She already showed herself playing for her country this Fall.
