I just got home from RSGNW and I'm beat.
But to those of you who know of Scott's event, or who have been there,
but didn't make it this year:
You missed a great time.
5 rounds of golf in 3 days with pretty much everything going off without
a hitch. The weather was great, the courses enjoyable, and the company
altogether terrific to be around.
Also, I played pretty well; much better than I thought I would. The work
I've done to groove the changes suggested by my pro (combined with one
piece I overheard from a pro giving a lesson to some beginners) resulted
in a weekend where I was actually able to play to my handicap.
In the final round of skins, I was in the top bracket/group and finished
with 7 skins and an 84, net 71 (-1), and that's pretty decent golf.
The other nice thing was that my brother was able to join in the fun
again this year.
And now, I'm going to bed to sleep for 9-10 hours.

Thanks to all that participated and helped us get from place to place wihtout a hitch. Congrats to Tex who is the first multiple winner of the Geiger.

Absolutely! I tried my "dangedest" (thanks, Joey!) but I could catch the
big guy. But playing with Tex always brings out my best golf.

I really enjoyed the event, as I always do thanks to Scott's organization and his help from Kelly.
I shot the lights out on my three scoring rounds - Net 58, 59, and 64 so I may get the ID of sandbagger next year. I loved getting into the B group based on my play in non-handicapped rounds and played well in the first part of the skins. The pressure of always getting strokes got to me on the last few holes and I will say I was not as competitive as I should have been.
I had really wanted to visit with Greg on the way down but a fall by my Granddaughter meant we had to leave home later than planned, so it did not happen.
Thor held off the rain that wanted to fall on the last day so that was very good. Now driving home was something different weatherwise!
Looking forward to Border Wars at the end of July... got to start the serious planning NOW.

That I did. I think it is the second time I have finished 2nd. Once when I was a fair golfer and this time when I had a high handicap!

Thanks, Greg. A fracture of the elbow with some development of fluid. No cast and she feels fine unless she moves it in the wrong way.
