WASHINGTON — A Yale classmate of Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh’s accused
him on Sunday of a “blatant mischaracterization” of his drinking while
in college, saying that he often saw Judge Kavanaugh “staggering from
alcohol consumption.”

The classmate, Chad Ludington, who said he frequently socialized with
Judge Kavanaugh as a student, said in a statement that the judge had
been untruthful in testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee when he
had denied any possibility that he had ever blacked out from drinking.

However, based on what I saw when our youngest son went to college,
and I visited, that would almost disqualify everybody from anything
except rehab.

You don't know that one way or the other. People can be genuinely motivated by the truth. Not everything needs to be seen from a political -- left or right -- lens.

He knows that a republican would cover up the truth to protect his team.

We both have suspicions and hopes, but not proof.

Or the truth as we remember it - right or wrong, substantiated or not.

My mind would need refreshing on that. Politics now is liberals vs.
Americans.

Possibly. But having witnessed kids growing up ca. 1976-to date at
college, the military and after working hours I would be willing to
bet a peso or two that my above quote is accurate.

In any event it is not disqualifying IMO, and neither would a sexual
assault 35 years ago that stopped short of rape or physical harm other
than perhaps fear.

The obvious motive IMO is to delay confirmation of ANY conservative
until after mid-term when libs hope to gain seats and attempt to seat
their treasonous socialist candidate. This is the best plan they could
come up with - maybe fact, maybe not. The next confrontation of a
conservative is probably already being scripted by Feinstein clerks.

Like F I can't prove any of that.

Long enough to know that people are motivated for a lot of things outside of partisan politics.
