The dotslash family is moving back to Texas - Austin, to be exact. Even get a fancy "senior" attached to the "software engineer" title.

Start end of july, so gonna be hectic!

Yes, the worst sort of non-humble-brag. Sorry, just finished negotiating, bursting and waiting for the workday to end to surprise the wife and kids.

Cheers!

Thx cheezy! Madisons been great and treated us well... you gave me some local scoop on the joint I'm working at up here and it was pretty dead on.

But the boy just won't forgive us for moving him outta texas... when he was one! What is it with these crazy texans and their texas pride, right?

Oh and this will be the second time we've moved to texas in the middle of the summer... maybe hughs right about me - not so bright, lol.

Cheers.

Just because you're a smrat rsfcker doesn't mean you have common sense,
but I sense you've got a healthy heaping of it. Glad for you that
things are working in your favor.

You're showing some evidence of growing up with the move. I suppose
the north might be a decent place to live if there was no other
choice.

I would advise you not to push your socialism there. That can give you
a permanently sore butt. Of course there is always a chance the move
will make you more politically intelligent than liberals.

It's Austin, Hugh.

I've never been to Austin. That's one reason I used a coward's words,
i. e. advise, can and chance.

Our 4th grandson will be at U of Tejas in a couple of months in what I
have been told is one of the top-rated business schools in the
country. UT beat Bama for him. His choice - I can live with it.

He has a tough life - been to FL, on a Carib cruise with his mom, and
to NOLA with HS classmates since graduation. I hope he tries out for
the golf team.
