Kenneth Nail, mayor of Hanceville, Ala., asked Mitch Landrieu,
mayor of New Orleans, for the four monuments
that were taken down in May. The New Orleans mayor
has not responded, but Nail reports that he has received
only positive feedback regarding his request.

Good on you, Mister Mayor.

If the mayor of a nowhere town of 3000 people wants to re-erect statues of four individuals who tried to destroy the United States, good for him. Maybe it will become a tourist attraction; can only help in a place where a quarter of the people live below the poverty line.

SCOTUS said offensive trademarks are allowed by the Constitution. That
means political correctness is no longer an excuse for lying.
Hail to the Redskins.

I'm sure those below the poverty line appreciate idiots like you
supporting all sorts of government freebies for them so they won't
have to work.

Your slogan must be "Those worthless folks ain't heavy, Father, they
are my peers."

I'm sure they do. But given that every place I've ever lived has seen on outflow of our tax money to support the losers in red states (especially southern red states) who don't pull their fair share, I'm sorta used to it.

you repeat the same garbage over and over again, yet when it is pointed out that much of the population in these red states that actually do receive bunches of federal support are blue voters, you have no response.

I live in a very red state. One of the reddest possible. The county I live is blue overall, yet the specific area I live is very red. The people who are receiving govt $$s in this county are overwhelmingly blue voters, and I don't know anyone where I live(mostly red voters) who receive federal dollars....

your way of breaking down everything into state lines obscures the real picture- that for the most part it's democratic voters in those states who are receiving the federal $$....and likewise in many states there are still large numbers of republicans(generally 35-40%) who mostly are why the state is giving more money to the govt than they are.

All these realities you ignore because they don't fit the picture you want. So yeah, I agree with you that it's a shame so much of the country is taking more than they get. But those are mostly *YOUR SIDE'S* voters for the most part.

Yes we know that you think only black people use welfare and commit crimes.

Your tax money supprting mostly blacks in Southern red states hasn't
improved their lot.

Factually, by ratio, more blacks are on welfare and most crimes are
committed by blacks in most Southern states - your ignorant accusation
notwithstanding.

In article <3c291f52-9cbc-4a1d...@googlegroups.com>,
Do no chisel the faces off monuments from previous regimes. It is
good for us to be reminded. Funnily enough the people wielding
the chisel are those who started the war in the first place. They
know inside what and who they are and cannot abide seeing it
memorialized in bronze in the city park.

How's my accusation ignorant? You just confirmed it as correct for yourself.

I quote you...

Who is "we" and how do you KNOW what Mia thinks? That's ignorant,
assuming. accusatory and dumber than a doorknob.

I doubt that anyone thinks that "only black people......"

And you know that welfare recipients disproportionately vote Dem how? All of the Trump voters are employed, right?

It's logical that welfare bums would not bite the hand that feeds
them. Thus they logically vote Socialist.

But, since logic is a foreign language to you, we forgive this time.

well a disproportionate percentage(relative to their overall population) of pts on govt assistance are minorities, and we do know that they almost all vote dem here....

we can also track it county by county....shelby co, for example, has incredibly low numbers of people on welfare(it would definately be a county that pays a lot more than they get as you like to state) and it's HEAVILY GOP....whereas the counties here that are heavily democratic are definately in the recieve more than they pay category.

So within the states, your party is definately the "get more than they pay" group, so this line of thinking you are always bringing up is twisted and actually means something very different than you think.

good example....Greene County is OVERWHELMINGLY democratic and OVERWHELMINGLY a net taker of govt resources relative to what they put in.

I wish the democratic areas here would pull their fair share and stop relying on us republicans/conservatives to pay for all their stuff.

You just want all the blacks to starve to death so you can save a little
bit of inconsequential cash that you likely don't need anyway? Wow. I
bet your wife knows she got herself a real catch in you.
