Anyone?

I subscribed to Showtime for the very first time in my life just for this show and to see something directed by David Lynch once again.

Thanks for the reminder

Did you watch it? I thought that it would be Lynch tempered by the sanity of Mark Frost. Instead, we got 100% insanity from David Lynch.

DVR'd, thanks for the heads up.

I liked it. A lot. But it's not for everyone. If you liked Inland Empire, Mulholland Drive, and Lost Highway with a little Blue Velvet thrown in for fun, then this TV series is for you.

I am really liking the reboot.

Me, too. I'm sure the casual fan of the show switched it off by episode 3, but it's fun for a lifelong Lynch fan like myself.

Bump. Anyone else, besides Mercellus and myself, watching this? It's through six episodes of 18 scheduled, and I'm only slightly confused!

I saw Twin Peaks once and won't repeat the experience.
Too much time on cruelty.

This "return" season sure is an acid trip!

Absolutely.

After all is said and done, just like the original TV series, I loved most of it, but the ending was another cliffhanger and, as such, somewhat dissatisfying. I'm not sure if Showtime and/or David Lynch is going to make any more episodes, so I'm left with the same empty feeling I had back in 1991 regarding this show.

I'm happy to have been given 18 more episodes, but I don't want to have to wait 26 more years for another resolution to this new season. IMO, it's a great show -- one of my all-time favorites. But it leaves me yearning for more, when it's not clear that there will be any more.

Sigh.

I thought it was a great ending. "What year is this?" lights out, then screaming. Looking forward to Season 4. It's gonna happen.
