Thirty years later and it still gets bites. That is a lot of
explaining. "Most of the political class thrives on deception and
role-playing." Bernie Sanders put himself into this situation.
Just because you try to explain away Bernie Sanders getting
married one day then taking his wife and a political contingent
to the USSR the next day does not mean it is dishonest for a
politician to bring it up. Bernie wants to look like a commie
stooge, he has to take the heat. Thirty years of smoke. There is
definitely fire. Bernie's pants?
Bernie also visited the mayor of Cuba and visited Nicaragua as
well as other socialist countries. Wonder what kept Bernie Sanders
out of Viet Nam and China? Has he been to Venzuela?
In a 1985 letter addressed to the people of Nicaragua, penned in
conjunction with that trip “In the long run, I am certain that
you will win,” Sanders wrote, “and that your heroic revolution
against the Somoza dictatorship will be maintained and
strengthened.” The Sandinistas were voted out in 1990.
Anyway, the point was that Hillary Clinton took an inordinately
long time to shake Bernie Sanders, who in addition to having a
toxic platform, has relatively few, if loud, followers.
