Many Dems dissatisfied with the lack of leadership in the party and apparent unwillingness to present alternatives to inssnity

Many GOPers disgusted that the (R) House and Senate appear content to allow a completely incompetent POTUS ruin the country.

So who becomes the leader and face of the party? (not the place for a Mark Cuban. joke).

The problem is we've strengthened the executive to the point that it's such a huge prize folks would rather hold their nose and grab a bigger tent...

Cheers.

We got rid of the incompetent and prevented the election of another one.
Just because things aren't being done 'traditionally' doesn't indicate
incompetence.

I'm convinced that this guy in office will be seen as the worst President ever.

In my lifetime, this is already true; the only real competition is Nixon, Carter, and G. W. Bush.

Worse than Warren Harding? He certainly has the potential.

He will certainly be the nominee of the worthless trash but not with
many people whose IQ is a bigger number than their waistline.

Which, sadly, includes our current POTUS.

If so, the decision whether to prefer him to his even more worthless
precedessor is easy.

Obama's IQ never impressed me BUT he had to be somewhat intelligent to
advance socialism as far as he did and survive.
