Ohio State's Urban Meyer is retiring

Ohio State just announced their Head Football Coach Urban Meyer
will be retiring after the Rose Bowl. Meyer, is one of the best, if not The Best,
college football coach in the country. Current Offensive Coordinator Ryan Day has
been chosen as the new Buckeye Head Coach.
Sad day for Buckeye Nation.

Well, I don't think anyone outside buckeye nation would argue he's a better college (minor league) coach than saban.
Honestly... just sort of confirms the osu obsession with michigan. Because that's really what urban excelled at over his 7 years. In terms of winning or even competing for national championships, feels like he underperformed his recruiting and all the built in advantages osu has (including a pretty soft conference compared to where the big ten usually is and needs to get back to).
Plus he did everything the wrong way although that's perfectly in line with osu as an institution, their ad, etc. Saban is a boy scout - pure as new snow - compared to the scandals that have followed urban around.
I'm obviously not impartial.

Why would anyone think Saban is a better coach just because he won
