not going to list all my plays initially(so I'll add a few to this thread later), but want to get them in now while I jump on some early lines.

It was another poor week last week(now -35 units for the year). A lesser player would just stop playing. But, as I saw last year when I caught fire, that's not the key to success.

USC(-12.5) at Utah: Utah is a bad football team. USC is not. I think USC wins this by 3 tds or more.

usc 3 units

Georgia tech at clemson(-10): Apparently people havent been paying attention that gatech is really really bad.

Clemson 5 units

LSU at Florida(+4): Going to go with the points at home.

Florida 3 units

All that means is that USC is going to win by 11.

Okay. Thanks. I could live with that.

And another 3 units bite the dust. Saw that coming the entire last Utah drive.

You're either seriously trolling, or you might as well send me your money at this rate.

I may not always be correct, but I could make more use of it than you, it seems.

He probably not "betting" on all the games he says he is or else his "unit" is something like $5. I bet you his sportsbook is really hoping that his credit card info is not stolen and that it has a high credit limit. If he keeps it up he could make his books bottomline a profitable one.

Why the infatuation with how much money he's betting? He's keeping a
running total(or you guys are for him)...isn't that all that matters.
He's in a line of work where he's likely making pretty decent money
already with much more on the way, lives at home with mom to save
money....hell, if he doesn't have a few hundred bucks a week to lose
at wagering, then nobody does. Shit, in my younger years I made less
than he is making and spent more than that at the bars each week.

You spent more than "a few hundred bucks" each week at the bars?

This is a new fact that I don't recall him mentioning (though I
certainly could have missed it)

If correct I guess his swingin' med school days are definitely over.

I think I've mentioned a bunch how much a unit represents and how much I've lost this year so far....this has been a really bad start. That's not going to continue.

Im pretty up front with what I make as well....heck I think i even mentioned to the penny what I paid in federal taxes last year.

, lives at home with mom to save

well I havent lived with my parents in forever...they live in another state but I visit often. Mainly what I've done with the money I make doing contract moonlighting as a resident(which pays good...averages about 115/hr or $2500 per weekend) is go towards paying off medical school loans.

But yeah..I mean the money I've lost this year is not trivial to me. It's just been one of those seasons so far...lots of bad breaks. Last night was another example.

Your profession is SOOOOO overpaid. Is this part of our current

Why would it surprise you that he's lying about his supposed wagers?

I think MD/DO salaries in healthcare represent 8% of the total amount spent on healthcare. Actually I dont know if that is physician salaries, or just health care provider salaries in general....which would also include midlevels and thus would mean that not even 8% of the amt spent on healthcare is due to physician salaries. it may be more like 6%. That's a pretty small part of the health care budget iow.

Psychiatry in particular is one of the lower paying specialties(although certain areas and practice settings do ok and psychiatrists make more on average than internists, pediatricians, etc), so I certainly don't feel overpaid...I dont complain about the money though because it's a choice I made knowing that. Liking what I do, having good hours and schedule flexibility, etc was more important to me than doing something I enjoyed less for more $. In over a year when I finish residency I will do addiction medicine/suboxone as a part time thing that should supplement things nicely.

Vatech and UNC, even considering UNC is at home(hardly a tough environment) is just a total cluster**** of a game. VAtech, +200, 5 units(meaning Im putting up 5 of my units if I lose)

Uconn at Rutgers(-7): Just feels like this should be 10 pts or so and not 7...

Rutgers, -7, 3 units

Kansas at Kansas State: Kansas is a really bad football team.

KSU, -24.5, 3 units

Why does it matter if he's lying about it or not? He's calling his
wagers units, and does so each week, so we can all see how he is
doing. I have little doubt that he's wagering. If he wasn't, with
his losing record, he'd have dropped the whole facade a long time
ago.

A net zero and an overall negative. Are you referring to his bets or his
personality and social behavior?
