Here are the latest news from the Sooners hotline from Tuesday April 18
According to the coaches, the offensive line had been doing real well.  They
apparently got a bad wrap on them last year but this is because they had too
many assignments in the old offense that made them confused.  There is also
some talk of playing James Allen at wide receivers since none of our receivers
have emerged as a star and have been disappointing.  The defensive line have
also not been coming on.  Martin Chase had been disappointing this spring as
Barron Tanner and Arthur Atkins are ahead of him and Carlos Baker is said to
be far behind.  Darius Johnson has been doing real well and according to
Schnellenberger has a shot at being All American next year.

Wow.  I never would have thought of that.  Just don't let him throw the
thing.  He has the moves, but Frazier would seem to be the more natural choice
with his speed.  Allen does have great hands.  I like it, though.  Get him
on the field.

Barron Tanner is a stud and a half.  Marty Chase showed flashes of brilliance
late last year, he'll do fine.  Hell, he was only a true freshman last season.
Baker still has time to develop, this is his freshman year, too.

Yeah, DJ is good.  Just ask him.

I didn't post it, but Moore and Moore combined for 280 yards in the Saturday
scrimmage.  Jerald Moore ran for 66 (I think) bowling over a pair of defenders
on a long td run, and Eric Moore ran for 60 on 7 carries (1 td) and threw for 154
(I think) and a couple of td's.  The offense is looking very good.  The defense
had several starters sitting out because of various nicks and classroom
committments.  RBs Terry Collier and Mike Rose also had good days.
