Top 10 reasons the state of Oklahoma Sucks!

10. I have to pay to drive on their cart paths they call toll roads on the
way to the promised land.

9. The biggest university, is it a university?, OU, hasn't been able to
beat that little bovine junior college in Texas regularly lately.

8. Stanford Sucks, so why shouldn't the state of Oklahoma.

7. They've been trying to steal land along the Red River.

6. They don't make a very good buffer between the promised land
and the damn yankees.

5. Obviously, from #6, even the yankees are too smart to stay in Oklahoma.

4. They're worse than yankees.

3. Stanford Sucks, see #8.

2. The damn red clay from their soil that gets into the Red makes it hard

to look under the water when you go skinny dipping with the girl down
the road.

1. They just suck.

====================================================================

I hope everyone has enjoyed this little top 10 list. I'm sure the reall
reasons Oklahoma Sucks are too numerous to mention, but hey, here's a start.

For Texas to kiss their sister, of course!

Well, I'm glad to see the Texas folx have begun to understand their role
in the history to be made by the suthrn division of the Big 12! I'm
glad they can learn and adapt that quickly!

Yes Kent, I'm afraid we're gonna get purty festive on this one because
I always root for you ags when you play outside of the SWC. I have an
uncle(a. and m. class of '62 - last year to get the TAMC ring) and he
is the same way as yourself. He and I can sit and talk football all
day long because we respect each other's team. Now in the case of
most of your people... well, I don't want to ruin a perfectly good
love-fest.

Todd,

I am a Sooner. I married an Aggie girl. My father-in-law is on the board
at aTm. Hell, we park under the elevator that says "Kyle Field". When I
married my wife, I asked her if crap like this went on with SWC teams.
She assured me that only Texas Longhorns did this stuff. She also said
that a true Aggie would never, never, stoop to BS like this. Aggies wouldn't
go as low as this. I can't wait to print out your posting and show
her that she has been away from College Station a little too long.

Mike... get that hook out of your mouth, hon! Todd's just doing a little
between-semesters fishin'. Chill. OU is going to be the crap out of us again
this year (just like last year), and on our home field! Rejoice, oh Sooner-

I was not snatching at bait. I was trying to point out to you that
some attempts at humour and insults can be in poor taste or
unnecessarily cutting. And I would put comments like yours about a
persons widfe and family in that category.

If you were sooner fishing, fine, you got one. No need to drag

Finally, you took a shot. However, it was a civil one and only
further reveals my err in sooner stereotyping.

Mike, you do not count as a catch. I will employ a bit more
sophistication and maturity in the future when baiting you.
But then, if you bite, it counts! :-)

BTW, one of my most frequent and favorite catches was grandstanding
about how I insulted your family and/or wife or some sort of
opportunist babble. However, I don't think you took it personally
and I certainly hope not. Feel free to take some jabs at me
(although you seem to be above that) if it'll make you feel better.
