Well I did the right thing last Saturday, and went into the Glenelg clubrooms
and bought Stephen and his mate a round of drinks. Are you too frightened
to enter the mighty Norwood clubrooms????

I'll be there as long as the 2 Port members I'm going with can
last that long without crying too much

Cheer,
Dave

Just as a matter of interest, how many *losing* GF attempts? I'm just
wondering whether the performance is better or worse than 50% - I have a
feeling that it's worse.

David.

Sorry Daivd... You are a dickhead! I'll be darned if I'm going to celebrate Port's
win at the Parade... I'm going back to Alberton to bask in the glory! The Bluelegs
aren't going to take my $$$ when I buy everyone a round of drinks after the Port win!

That's what he means... you bloody idiot!

The question remains... will you stay till the end of the match this week, David when
we thrash Norwood! I hope so... just to rub it in your face!

Well I enjoyed the game and felt it fitting that I buy the drinks
since I'm not a tight arse like some people are. BTW whats
chardonay got to do with anything and you can buy beer at Norwood
oval.

No crying when he kicks 10 goals to boot the pretenders off the oval.

Well thats were port will be playing after Sunday.

If Ports losing attempts in Grand Finals is worst than its winning achievements
(Which it could well be!)

Dosn't this suggest to you that Ports domination of the competition has been
overwhelming!!

I mean 32 premierships + > 32 losses in Grand Finals would mean that Port
has been apart of greater than 64 Grand Finals in the SANFL!!!!!!!!

What a staggering achievement by any one club!
That is a greater than 50% ratio that Port have been in the grand final since
the SANFL started!!!!
What other fucking team can boast such a record??

Don't try to lower Port's dominance of the SANFL ,David!!!!!!!

We are just too bloody good - Go on admit Dave (and Steve)!

My Predictions for this weeks Port Norwood Match at the Parade:

1) Port once again hand out another thrashing to Norwood on their home ground.
2) The beer runs out before half time as the caterers forgot that the majority of the
Crowd would be Port supporters.
3) Chris Prime is stretcherd off the ground in embarrasment as his lycra body suit
explodes in the first quarter.
4) Robran pulls a heart muscle - Rowe snaps his knee in half.
5) Neil Craig prepares his "Port were just too good for us on the day...." speech at
half time rather than adressing his players.
6) JOhn Cahil prepares his "We were too good for them on the day....." speech before
the match.
7) The Redleggs announce a new gurnsey featuring a giant picture of Darren Smith on
the front.
8) Norwood announces it wishes to merge with Port.
9) Port tell Norwood to fuck off.
10)Norwood then announces it wishes to merge with Glenelg.
11)Norwood and Glenelg launch a bid to join the WAFL.
12)David Petrovic offers to buy all 9000 of the Port supporters a "lemonade."
13)The Port supporters tell him to fuck off.
14)David Petrovic suddenly claims he was a Port supporter all along.
15)David is found after the match hanging from the goal post with a ND scarf around
his neck.

Alex :-)

One simple question, and the defense mechanisms kick into overdrive.
Sigh.

However, I guess this means that at least one avowed Port supported has
no idea what the actual number of Port finals appearances is. :-)

The only team I can think of with a record anything like that of Port Adelaide's is
East Fremantle in the WAFL. I think they've won around 28 flags and lost just as many
grand finals. Certainly is a lot of GF appearances. For interest, in the WAFL, then
follows West perth and East Perth (my team, plus the Eagles of course) who have
each won around 14 or 15 flags with as many GF losses also. Interesting how the ratio
of GF wins and losses is equal. Some teams, of course, have probably got fairly lop-sided records.

John.
