My point was that 88-89 was only the 5th year after the ringer rules
and so he had played a legitimate number of years after the 5 year
rule went into effect. And as someone else posted- the 5 year rule may
have come into play a few years after the ringer rule years expired.

playing ultimate for the sport of it first, and the socal aspect of it
second, you will actually have more fun playing with refs facilitating

really mine is more of a share the wealth philosophy. This is why i
suggest that the "players association" as well as the "communites"
share in the OWNERSHIP of the league. Like the way the green bay
packers are owned by the town in a non profit status as apposed to
being owned by one rich ole white man.
