I know there are a good deal of Sectional games left next
weekend (6 open, 3 mixed, 10 women) but what are the teams
that have qualified thus far (by region)?

Cork Juice (East)

How many of those teams accepted their bids I don't know.

A guess at the top teams for Mid Atlantic Open:

#1 Ring
#2 Truck
#3 Southpaw
#4 X-Rates
#5 Bear Proof
#6 Los (Poor showing at Chesapeake)

Don't know DC teams all that well so maybe someone else can
argue where in the 4-5-6 range the #2 should be injected.

Regardless of what happens at the top tier - the people
definitely want to see a Los vs. Phila game one way or
another.

i'm sure a good # of them are. if a team from Florida turns
down a bid Rival will get to go right? or is it Texas then
Florida then EC? I always get confused.

Is there a way for regular guys to view rosters or would the SC have

In the past 2 or 3 years, SC/RCs will normally send out a
report to the Captains with the rosters for every team.

I thought Dusty quit RSD?

While it'd be cool for Los to grab one of the top two spots,
they will be clawing for that (potential) 3rd spot. Yea,
they tanked against X-Rates in the 2/3 game after beating
them on day #1 at Sectionals but they did the same thing
last year. Something tells me they will come correct again
at Regionals, again.

Anyways, wax philosophical about roster logistics all you
want. If Los gets to a 3rd place game to go (regardless of
who their opponent is) everyone involved in the MA region
for the last couple years will be somewhat interested to see
if these guys will execute, regardless of opponent. Yea,
Southpaw isn't Pike, I'm well aware of that, but its about
as close as Los can get to redemption. The turnover from the
'07 to the '09 team was about the same as '09 to '10 but
agreed they won't have the same aura* as Philly teams
prior.

... or MA won't get awarded the 3rd bid, this is all moot,
and Cuatro can go fuck himself.

* Aura being a confused look on their face from trying to
figure out what exactly Dusty is talking about.

that gives us no sectional rematches in the first round
right? is the TX section that weak? EC & FL each have 3
teams above TX1(codename). i haven't seen any of the TX
teams this season. and have only seen Jacks on Jill from the
FL section. so your guess is as good as mine.

What's the policy on teams attending regionals who didn't originally
qualify as far as seeding goes? It seems pretty clear that rival is a
top-4 or so team, but they didn't actually qualify on merit (based on
original bid allocations). So do they get seeded where they would
have been had they qualified (ie if the EC had 3 bids), which probably
makes the tournament format better but penalizes all the teams seeded
below them who did qualify on merit, or do you seed them last,
penalizing rival for not qualifying initially but also making the
tournament very messy (and certainly penalizing the loser of the 8/9
game if rival were to be seeded 16th)?

When Houston dropped out of South Open College Regionals last year, I
was directed to find a replacement team. That replacement team was to
be seeded as if it had gotten the bid originally (obviously still
reflecting sectional finishes). So having Rival in the top 4 makes
sense to me.

Ah, i'm not familiar with most of the TX/FL teams so that
didn't cross my mind. Dirty & Conspiracy have higher RRI's
than Fatal & Jacks, yet finished behind Codename @
Sectionals. I'm not saying it's right, just saying that's
