happened. As someone who has been focused on disc sports
since 1979, I wouldn't be honest with myself if I didn't

nah, never competed against him. Knew nothing about him
until i saw a popular frame by frame photo of him skying
someone. Nice photo....don't know the photographer off the
top of my head.

I've been a Missouri based player since 1980 except for a
few years in HI & AK. Got crushed by Tunas and Windy City a
few times (UFO & UPA Sectionals)...but never played NY NY of
course.

you would pronounce him to be unspirited. SOTG dictates you
only make calls when you have best perspective, right?

i only played against Kenny at the very end of his career (I
started playing club in my early 30's so missed out on his
heyday.) he was on black molly, i was on Amp. Seemed like a
nice guy to me. We had an interesting debate on sideline
during the regional final about stall counts, but it was a
civil exchange.

in the mail. For the first ~ 10 years of MDSC collection
development I regularly sent cash through the mail and never
got ripped off by a postal service worker or a E-bay seller
I'd never met. It's so easy and fun dude.

I'm a very trusting person and this approach hasn't failed

The saddest part of this whole saga to me is that Peter
doesn't have a single person in the Ultimate world who reads
RSD and cares about him enough and to explain to him,
man-to-man, what a jackass he's being.

I think it's in everyone's best interest to just move on

All the folks i've communicated with agree the above is very
much the practice/tradition of betting in American
culture.

dobyns tried some wily veteran trick and failed. Even KD
looses sometimes you know.

baer, that oct 28th pay-dobyns OFFER was made when Toad was
in the process of bowing out of his bet. So it's apples and
oranges.

anyway...yes, i agree i'm annoying folks a bit with all
this. Those foolish enough to keep reading it. Anyway, if
dobyns played by the rules this annoying post would never
have occurred.

If you played by the SPIRIT, this post wouldn't have
happened. But you want to stick to the rules. Given your
dislike of KD's game was that it didn't adhere to the spirit
of the competition, it pretty much makes you wrong in every
sense of the word.

I've watched KD play from league play to the finals of
worlds. His bad spirit reputation is more than well earned.
I have little respect for him outside of his physical
abilities as a player. I'm not falling for anything. You
lost, and his payment request is above and beyond
reasonable, regardless of his intent.

p.s. MDSC update: Two weeks back Thordis Brandt contacted my
office and donated 2 photographs from the first Rose Bowl
Wham-O event (1968)....cool.

Earlier last month I un-earthed a silent/color 16mm reel
from a circa 1957 Wham-O event. A Wham-O event with "Flying
Saucer" signage (not Frisbee). Now in digital format,etc.
THE Disc sport historians on E. and W. coast hadn't seen
that reel until now (approx. 12 minutes). Word.
