Hello All,

My little brother is quickly becoming another worthless ultimate
player. In order to trap him for good, I was hoping to get him a nice
Gaia bag for Christmas. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get their
website to work.

www.gaiacustom.com is the #1 result on Google for "Gaia ultimate," but
that page is now closed (with no links to anywhere else).

www.gaiaultimate.com redirects to the closed custom page.

www.gaia-ultimate.com goes nowhere.

Is this just a temporary thing, or did they go out of business? Does
anyone know of a working link?

Also, has anyone ever purchased anything from GottaGoThrow.com? Looks
like a frolf site, but they're advertising Gaia bags. Trustworthy/up
to date?

I'd say its temporary, I know someone who works at Gaia and I feel
like I would have heard about it or atleast there would have been some
RSD talk about it.

If you are looking for Ultimate specific bags, there are a couple
available here:

Far be it for me to spread rumors, but I feel like I tried going to
the Gaia site about 2-3 months ago and got the same results as you.

I have had this problem in the past- somehow I think their website
gets confused every so often. you could call them???
I found Gottagothrow site, it looks like it would work...

good luck. I have been to their store in the past (even when the
website did not work...) let us all know when they are back online...

Any chance this Gaia-site-down is a C1 situation? Or we mean C11 on
the horizon?

Those Furious George players look like they just scored Coldplay
tickets from their local radio station (that's what the kids listen to
nowadays right?).

Not sure if it's true, but I heard GAIA is no more. Bankrupt City.
Game Over. Another casualty of the dying North American and World
economies. :(

I'm wondering what this means for VC and Five Ultimate. Will their
sales excel with one less competitor, or will they fall the way of the
GAIA bird as well?

I guess only time will tell...

The .ca link that I posted appears to be OK.

No one said the link doesn't work. What they're saying is that the
website says "NOW CLOSED", likely indicating they are out of
business. Bummer, those GAIA bags were pretty sweet.

And what they are saying is wrong. http://gaiacustom.ca/ appears to be
Gaia's current home page, and does not say "now closed" anywhere. They
may well be out of business, but nothing at this link would indicate
such.

for us stupid americans (or at least my IE), the .ca site
automatically redirects to the .com site that says CLOSED.

American people..chill out...when you go to http://www.gaiacustom.com/
click FAQ and that brings you to the old site which you can still
navigate around til your heart's content.

Person looking for gifts, go to
http://www.gaiacustom.com/c-31-cleats-bags.aspx
They've only had Finland Ultimate duffels for a while though... You
should try calling them and ordering over the phone

In other news, I wish fiveultimate could have opened their store
before christmas. But alas, i'll just keep wishing for that special
day to come.

My current understanding is that Gemini Fashions is the parent company
of Gaia, and Gemini has recently gone into receivership. I'm unable to
substantiate this information, but I believe it came from a reliable
source.

I haven't driven by their store lately, but I should do that quick, in
case my days are numbered to cash in the last of my gift-card. I'll
update if/as I find out anything else.

I ordered some cleats from GAIA a couple weeks ago and haven't heard
from them
or received them yet. Just got an email today saying that the order
couldn't be completed.
Nevertheless, my credit card bill shows that they charged me for them.
Tried calling the customer service number in Canada but its
disconnected.

Also noticed the site was down today.

I'm starting to get pissed. Whats the deal?
Anyone know and other ways to get in contact with them?

Check on-line with your cc to see whether you were credited.
Otherwise, you may want to dispute the charge with your cc company.

I drove by their store yesterday in Van and there's no stock there;
there's another outfit having a sample sale of this other outfit's
stuff. Nothing Gaia to be seen except for the sign out front.
