An Open Letter to Mars

Hey, so what's up...how are you? Its been a while huh? exactly a
year now. So i heard rumors that you weren't happening this year.
Wow. Considering me and you have spent the last 5 4th of July
weekends together...this really hurts. I'm not good with breakups
whats for sure.

Anyway I have really been trying to get over you. i set up a tent in
my backyard for the weekend. Slept on the ground like usual...its not
the same without the usual back aches from sleeping without a
mattress. I included the usual symphony of snores, loud music and
annoying ultimate cheers to help me feel more relaxed. and I hired a
karaoke guy to set up in my backyard tonight so i could relive some
of my past moments of greatness (mike yencheks A Capella group wasnt
available i guess) The neighbors werent too happy when i started to
chant F*ck O-Pig...oh well. The karaoke guy wasnt too happy when i
started to throw quarters at him either. Remember that three years
ago when i made the karaoke guy leave when he got tired of people
throwing stuff at him? that was awesome. Tomorrow im really looking
forward to my freezing cold shower in front of the spigot.

I also dressed up some mannequins and put them in various places
throughout my backyard. hey look! there is a tim johnson look
alike. Remember that PBR shirt? and that drunk empty look on his
face? I put a random girl mannequin on his lap too...hopefully it
turns out well for him! Man he looks drunk (and especially after
telling us not to over do it tonight after our games this afternoon) I
couldn't imagine a better guy to spend the weekend with. And there
are a bunch of dudes from the metro east making every guy take there
shirts off...

I also made sure to include our circle of former metro east greats all
talking about why the metro east is so far behind other
regions....remember those talks? That was the best.
I set a port a potty waaaaaaay off in the distance so josh mullen can
poo in privacy and more importantly cleanliness.

I also called the cops and had a mannequin resembling keegen
arrested.....he should have just kept his mouth shut i guess..

I am all set for our usual successful friday and saturday, only to run
out of steam on sunday after too many long nights of drinking,
dancing, and hating on albany area players

Man...those weekends were great....hanging out with raj, tim, sean
josh (to name a few) and to get the chance to creep out some of the
best players on the east coast.....tough to lose. Maybe see you next
year so we can cath up on old times? I hope so....
