Connecticut Ultimate Club Summer League

The CUC board is pleased to announce that start on CUC summer league
registration. With several hours, probably days of working on the new
draft, it's finally here!

CUC 2009 Summer League Registration is now OPEN. Please go to
www.ctultimate.com to register.

Registration has begun and will run through the May 9th. Here are
some key pieces of information about the league:

* The cost of summer league is $75 for UPA members and $85 for non-
members.
* Each participant will receive a FREE DISC with registration.
* The season will run Monday nights and Wednesday nights starting
at 6:00pm.
* The majority of games will be played in Wethersfield, CT at
Winding Brook Turf Farm, with some games at additional locations in
that area.
* The league will be for players ages 18 and older (must be 18 by
5/26/09) and we are striving for a 4/3 coed format.
* We will start games on Wednesday, May 27th and the last game
will be on Wednesday August 5th.
* There will be an end of season tournament on Saturday August
8th.
* As we have in the past, we're offering some CUC merchandise for
sale. The summer league shirts are high quality Patagonia jerseys.
They are $20 for short sleeve and $25 for long sleeve. We're also
selling additional discs for $10 each.
* New this year, player "baggaging" has been blown wide open!
There no longer is any "couple" requirement and there is also no
longer any gender restriction. Players of either gender may request to
be "baggaged" with any other player of either gender. On the
registration page, please provide the first and last name of ONE other
player to request to be drafted with that player. We will try to honor
all baggage requests, but reserve the right to deny a request to
preserve league fairness and team parity (i.e. if you are one of the
top 20 or so players, don't expect to be allowed to baggage with
another top 20 player). Requests must be mutual.
