I was wondering who else will be streaming this weekend
besides ESPN. I looked at ESPN3's schedule and they are only
showing Open and Women's Semi(4 games) and Finals(2 games).
Will there be anyone streaming on Friday and Saturday?

There is an above 50% chance that Ultiworld will be doing
some live streaming.

Come on Kevin. Don't you run the NGN network... We all want
the game package like what was done for stanford invite and
easterns, except more games

Why the hell isn't NGN filming games again? What the hell.
ESPN3 is obviously not enough. You're telling me the only
way to watch the bulk of the games is to actually be there?
What a downgrade. NGN should be selling package games like
they have been the whole year, like at Easterns and Stanford
Invite.

Streaming games well is expensive, and I don't think it is
reasonable to expect Nexgen to stream the games leading up
to semis, and then have people switch over to ESPN3. USAU
made the decision to pay ESPN to broadcast their games, and
ESPN has the right to cover as many or as few games as it
wishes. But this ESPN deal was voted on by the Board right?
So college players shouldn't complain that their dues are
going to support this deal, and they shouldn't complain
about the terms of the deal because they have a right to
elect board members to look out for their best interests.
USAU is a corporation now, and will make its decisions based
on the financial interests of that corporation.

UltiWorld will be streaming this weekend. They haven't
released what games they will be covering.

I wasn't complaining about ESPN getting the deal to stream
this weekend I was just wondering if there was any options
for the rest of the weekend. As a customer that has
purchased every Tourny subscription that NexGen has offered
I was hoping for a bigger presence. ESPN will be a good way
to grow awareness for the sport for people that don't follow
on a regular basis, but for those of us that are used to 9
games being streamed during the weekend its kind of a let
down

@MinerThreat - This was kind of the point of the trip I went
on last winter. To put it in perspective to film this
weekend would have cost me ~$10,000 to break even. That
doesn't include two or so weeks of my time to make it happen
as well. Then I have to compete with the semis and finals
being offered for free by ESPN. Past experience tells me
that this would be a very risky proposition and one where
I'd likely come out the loser if not just my time, but
actual money.

Stanford and Easterns this year cost me only time, but did
not generate any revenue over expenses related directly to
those events.
