-- Fishklan41... I know you live in the middle of NC somewhere... you
could be one of the head observers up that way! I know we'll be in
contact.

--- The furthest team away from all the center state competition was
the first to respond with...

"we are definitely interested"

ECU IRATES - We didn't expect anything less.

-- Games WILL BE UPA Sanctioned.

Every single UOA Event thus far has been UOA Sanctioned and we plan to
keep it that way going forward.

Sounds fantastic. Have all these teams said that they are going to
participate? I wonder how this will impact weekend tournament travel
for the NC section. If Clemson had weekly intercollegiate competition
I expect we would only attend a couple of pre-series tournaments.

I can only suppose there is now bad blood between UNCW and the entire
UOA now.
This is sad.

----Our ideal would be HS Stadiums....however, as we constantly
consider our plan....we are finding that it may be more likely that a
lighted county/city park may(or may not) be more likely. Parks might
be easier to secure vs HS stadiums that may be hosting girls soccer?
lax?field hockey?etc....

-- For the record... There is no bad blood between the UNCW program
and the UOA. The UOA thinks very highly of the UNCW club athletes and
club captains.

UNCW captains Bender and Dave are great guys and we would love to have
their program be apart of all of the UOA events.

--awesome!
that makes 7 teams committed to the UOA's NC College Ultimate League.

one more and we will be SET and ready to roll.

The format will be....8 teams.
2 four team divisions(east and west) who play 3 round robin games in
their division.
if we can work out a sat or sunday when we can get all 8 teams in one
spot, we'll have each team play the 4 teams from the OTHER
division...but that is not mandatory, just an extra bonus if we can
work it out.

After the pool play rounds IN the divisions....quarters semis and
finals will be cross divisional...
that is...
west 1 v east 4
west 2 v east 3
west 3 v east 2
west 4 v east 1

it's gonna be sweet!
