Learn how an innocent and fun family toy became the tool of sins for
hippies and beach bums...

With rare original Wham-o commercials!

Huanga2,

I think i'm correct in saying several of those commercials you posted
from youtube were duped from UPA holdings a number of years back. 10+
years back.....

Probably from 2nd or 3rd generation video. I'm pretty sure gettybfree
didn't transfer them from 16mm ....but i could of course be wrong.

Though we don't have all of those in the MDSC holdings the commercials
we have transferred to digital format were from 16 mm to .dv.
Definitely varying quality (vinegar syndrome) but generally head &
shoulders above those you've pointed out.

Not to downplay the fact that they are out there for folks on youtube
of course... Mucho thanks to gettybfree for the many films he has put
up on youtube. Some of those might be the only known existing copies.

I just wanted to note that better quality versions are available for
any film makers here on rec.sport.disc.

Oh I have no idea who gettybfree is or where he got the films. I just
wanted to share those with everyone. If there are better versions out
there, then great. Hope to see those sometime soon.
