Just to chime in about the AdiZero 5 stars.
One of the biggest things I hope for in purchasing new cleats is
durability, specfically will I have to replace the cleats during the
season, after the season or will they continue to maintain shape for
multiple seasons. Often times if you find a pair that lasts a good
long time, by the time the cleats do fall apart, they are no longer
available for purchase or as stated in the first post, they are only
available in odd sizes.
I've had a pair of 5 stars since last April and they are holding up
very well. There are no visible signs of structural degradation or
foot slippage as a result of wear and should be able to withstand
another club season. In fact, I haven't seen any telltale signs of
cleat wear anywhere on either boot other than the grass and dirt scuff
marks. If you don't have weak ankles, I would strongly suggest
getting a pair of these. I'm actually going to get a few more pairs
so the likelihood is my cleats will last longer than my body.
