What are the closest sites to NYC that anyone has played a tournament
at? Any favorites?

Has anyone tried to host on in Prospect Park or Van Courtland Park?

Thanks

SUNY Purchase (30 minutes north) in Westchester County near White
Plains. Airport 10 minutes from fields.
Great fields/facilities but no lights. Good relations with
administration. however, fields can not be used if rain during event
or if heavy rain in days prior to event. 16-20 fields.

Bridgeport, CT. 1 hour north/east of NYC, fields are not as nice, but
available at short notice and very very cheap and have lighted field
option. convenient to major transportationf from the city, though in a
pretty tough neighborhood. can use these fields rain or shine. 20-30
fields.

Mamaroneck, NY has town fields. difficult to reserve, expensive and
not likely to be available if rain. I believe they are also lighted.

There are some Jersey options also which someone else may be better
able to comment on.
