Weather was awful until around 10am. pretty much clear from then on.
Mens A-Quarters:
Stanford v. SB-X
Cal v. Oregon
LPC v. Claremont
Santa Cruz v. UCLA
Womens Pool winners:
Pool E
Santa Cruz
Pool F
Stanford X
Pool G
UCLA Y
Stuff i noticed as a TD: ...it sucks being one, but aside from that,
it looked like the womens Stanford X team was doing exceptionally well,
playing hard and making good decisions. (sadly, that was the only
womens game i saw)
..this is what i noticed from my pool..
-Davis can attribute their bad day to having some injuries as well as
some key players missing, however, they made a big pick up with a
certain juniors player who i wont mention.
-Chico looked good, Kyle Harper has a nasty I/O flick break, they got
unlucky snagging Oregon in the crossover game. Under some better
conditions they can easily give anyone a run.
-SLO has definitely improved from last year, cant say much else..didnt
get to play/watch much of our game.
Mens:
Stanford over Santa Cruz 13-9
