Come on Maxxie?? "Not at all"???
Even Faf's grandmum would be surprised at the innings he played.
There is nothing in your description of him ("slightly better bat
than Duminy") that suggests that you think he was capable of
having one of the All Time Debut matches with the bat...
Or if Adelaide is "slightly better than Duminy " then pretty much
everyone else in the squad (who is presumably more than slightly
better than Duminy is a kissing cousin to Len Hutton or Sunil
Gavaskar...
Kudos to you for suggesting he would be a decent Test player,
but if you are honest, there is nothing in his background (nor your
post) to think that Faf (there's that name again; makes it hard for
me to take him seriously) that Faf would play one of the AT defensive
innings.
Since I stand duly chastened, I'm going to suggest "Faf" as the
name of the puppy my daughter desperately hopes to get
next year... (right now we are out-vetoed 1-3 on the mutt).
