I'm interested to see in how many matches a single batsman's innings
(Clarke's 151) is greater than 2 innings combined!

In IvA T1 in 1947-48, Bradman was hit wicket off Amarnath for 185 and
India was dismissed for 58 and 98.

In the EvP T4 at Lords in 2010 (the NoTW test), Trott made 184 and
Broad scored 169 in England's only innings. Pakistan, in reply, scored
74 in their first innings and were 73/8 in their second innings. At
that point, it appeared that two such batsmen could achieve the feat
in the same test. However, Umar Akmal took them to 147.

Another recent example is Inzamammal 329 v NZ 73 & 246 at Lahore 2002.
However the Clarke instance is most notable for him being on the losing
side.

At the other end of the scale, what is the lowest (highest individual
score) in a Test match with a result? In the Eng v Aus Test at Lord's
in 1888, Australia won by 61 runs with WG Grace's 24 in the second
innings being the highest individual score of the match for either
side. Surely there cannot be too many matches that were played to a
result and featured a highest score that was lower than 24. Here is
the scorecard for that Test:
